Discovery Gateway

I love this girl. She loves getting into cupboards and drawers in the kitchen. This is her newest entertainment!

Today Sophie and I had a girl's day out and went to the Gateway Children's Museum. She wanted to run to the water spot first off, but I wasn't ready to have her soaking wet for the rest of the time. So we went upstairs (which was new to us) and she loved all the activities! She loved the little stair step things so that she was on the counter level.

We played for a while up here, she loved stacking things and building things!

She loved the helicopter, especially sitting in the back. It was a busy place to be though, and a few kids stepped on her fingers so she attempted to assault them, so we had to leave - kicking and screaming - to another activity.

We definitely had fun! Now that she's such a quick walker, I think she loves the world even more! I would say her favorite activities were the water area, the helicopter, and the farm.

Laying Pipe

We've been busy in the yard! We had a deep ditch to the south of our property that we wanted to fill in. We are also putting a pipe fence along the back to keep the animals out. Sophie has loved being outside!

Lucky for us we had an awesome tractor and a great crew!

We ended up getting everything finished with the ditch and filled it in with gravel and dirt. We are just waiting for some more fill dirt, then we'll sod it! We gained a ton more to our yard!
