Spring Market

A neighbor/friend puts on this cute boutique twice a year.  I was excited to go and look at the cute things I got!  I got a little table, a little pink treasure chest, and this cute jar and flowers.

Swimming

I had to work today but we went swimming before.  Sophie had a blast.  Since we went in the morning it wasn't very busy.  She loved seeing all the other little kids her age and especially loved the slide.  I bet she went down it for an hour straight.

She's such a cute girl.  She is very cautious in the water which I appreciate.  She is still afraid to put her face under the water though.  I hope she can grow up to be a swimmer like me!

Polka Dot Cake

I hate pinterest.  I mean, I really love it, but I hate how easy they always make things look.  I tried to make this polka dot cake for my sister's birthday...

It definitely didn't turn out that cute... or maybe even not cute at all, ha!  This isn't the best view but take my word for it that it was a complete let down.  Sorry Ky!

I dropped it off at her house while she was working with her presents and cleaned her house.  Happy Birthday Ky!

Birthday

I had a great Birthday.  I had cards and gifts from my great family, and we got to go out to dinner and bowling.  We ate at a Japanese steak house called Kobe.  It's fun... they make the food right there in front of you!  They found out it was my birthday and I got to go back and help flip the egg.  It was hilarious and lots of fun!

We had fun bowling.  My sis and her hubby came.  Kale is the better bowler... by far, but it's always fun to see how ridiculous of a score I get... ha!  

I had a great birthday, thank you everyone!

Conference Weekend

I had to work a grave Saturday.  Graveyard shifts are rough!  I woke up in time for the second session of conference, but everyone else fell asleep ha!

I really liked the talks about strengthening home and marriages.  I love the church and that we can receive all the inspiration and teachings through modern day prophets and conference.

Healthy

 I have been going to the gym like crazy!  I got a membership at planet fitness and have been logging all my food in My Fitness Pal again.  I kind of fell off the wagon for the winter but am back at it.  It's definitely fun when I have buddies at the gym with me, but it's hard to get everyone's schedule to match up!

Everyone's always working so hard, it's just getting there that's sometimes the battle!

This is me on the treadmill.  I am always terrified I will make one wrong step and go flying off it...

I have been logging my food into my calorie counter.  I also like to focus on protein and try to have lots of it.  Here is a picture of my fridge after picking up my bountiful basket...  

I signed up to run a 10K with my sister in July, that's my goal now.  I am running for that.

Nature Center

We went to a class at the Nature Center with our friends, Emery and Kaden.  It was a lot of fun!  We did a craft, sang songs, and learned about how things grow.

We did a nature walk and Sophie got a little grumpy at the end.

Scooter

Here is a little clip of Sophie learning to ride her scooter.  She's getting better but doesn't get the lean-to-steer concept.  Gosh, she is so cute...
