Sophie is probably the pickiest eater on the planet. Part of it is that she is a little stubborn, and part of it has to do with some of her sensory issues. We have tried it all... hiding foods, forcing her to try things, ignoring it, and even did some therapy with an OT. We've kind of accepted it and know what she loves. Breakfast food is usually always a big hit... specifically she loves McDonalds and Jeremiah's. She can eat like a grown man there. She eats 3 strips of bacon, some french toast/pancake, oranges, and we usually order her an extra side of sausage she will eat all by herself. I love it there too, it's quite the treat! We went there today.
After, Kale took Sophie to Lagoon! Sophie loves all things Halloween so she was really excited to see al the frightmares stuff! They had a lot of fun and her Dad doesn't get so sick on the rides like me so he can handle them a bit better. Sophie always begs to get her face painted. I can't commit to the $12 cost, but Kale gave in and Sophie was SO excited!
She picked the panda. Ha! She kept telling people in like "Do you like my face, I'm a panda?!" She ha a blast.
She did some of the Halloween activities and went trick or treating. She also got to see lots of Halloween characters, like the witches!
Kale was a good sport to take her on a Saturday. He said the weather was nice and the lines weren't bad at all. Love that.
