Happy Valentine's Day

Since I got such a neat camera for Christmas, I figure I better put it to work. Here is my novice attempt at a photo shoot. Happy Valentine's Day!

4 months

Lounging with Dad watchin some TV

Oh my baby girl is so sweet. Today she had her 4 month check up and shots. It's been rough. She basically cried for an hour straight until she cried herself to sleep, then she was whimpering all throughout her nap. I feel so bad, not only when she's poked, but how sore and miserable she is. Last time it was about 24 hours then she was back to normal... so hopefully this time will be better.

Sophie weighed 14lbs 13oz (her weight gain has really slowed down, that's 60th percentile)

She was 25.5 inches tall (80th percentile)

OFC 42cm (70th percentile)

Sleep

I love that Sophie sleeps in her own crib but every once in a while (usually the nights after I've worked) I miss her so much I keep her in our bed. Last night she and I watched a movie in our bed and fell asleep. She sleeps for much longer (she went from 930pm to 730am last night). I had to wake her up because I needed to nurse her! Then we went back to sleep for another 2 1/2 hours! She's taken a lot of naps today and has been fussy the past couple days so she must be either growing or really working on a tooth.

What a cute baby I have!

Wednesday night, we tired a new hairdo. A sweet lady in the ward passed on some more baby clothes... this is one of the new shirts and we LOVE it!

Las Vegas

I love my husband!

Kale and I left our sweet baby and went to Las Vegas with his siblings. They left on Friday morning, but I took a plane and got there Saturday evening. I couldn't leave my baby that long! We saw Mystere, and it was awesome, when I got in on Saturday. I still think, KA is my favorite so far though. It was nice to have a 'date' and Kale was so thoughtful to get those tickets for me for Christmas! It was great! The next day we went in the pool, it was heated :) We hung out and his family watched some sports. Then we went out to eat at Kale's favorite pizza place and walked around the casinos. There was a concert Sunday night (the reason we went) and it was fun, but very hot. We came home this morning. The drive HOME from Vegas is never fun. I was so glad to see my sweet baby. My mom had her and she did great. She blew through my extra breastmilk supply. Luckily I pumped in Vegas so I had some to replace it with. We love her so much! I forgot how blue her eyes are! I really love traveling, and going with his brother and sister was a lot of fun. I kept daydreaming about all the fun places I want to take Sophie. I have always loved when my family went on Vacation, especially when we went to Hawaii before my brother went on his mission, that was a lot of fun. Kale and I are going to try to go to California this summer with Sophie to visit our friend Patty.
